SPEEDEMON Lisbon Heavy Metal Band 

SPEEDEMON was formed in mid-2011, initially only as a trio composed of White (drums), Brutus (vocals and bass) and Bicho (guitar)! With this training they begin to develop some themes. In October 2011, the band undergoes some changes and evolves into a quartet, when Brutus takes on a second guitar and with the entry of Peter to secure the role of bassist!

More material with this line-up follows and the first opportunities to play live appear with the stage debut taking place in March 2012. The experience of these four elements with other previous projects (mainly Reckless Pain and Encancrate) allows them to mix various influences present in the Heavy Metal scene: from NWOBHM to Power Metal, Thrash and Speed ​​Metal. In 2013, the SPEEDEMON undergo a new lineup with Peter’s friendly exit and Rui Marujo’s entry to occupy the four-string position! At the end of the same year, the band began preparing their first record and the beginning of 2014 found them continuing their songwriting and recording work.

Only a couple of concerts were played during the first half of 2014. New change in line-up, comes out Alexandre Branco (drums). In 2015 SPEEDEMON recorded the debut EP “FIRST BLOOD” with drummer Luis Meco (Blackallica, Fear, InChaos). Where the SPEEDEMON drums are Pedro Pereira (Frost Legion) and Hugo Pote (Corman, Pour). Luis Meco returns after the EP recording sessions at SPEEDEMOM and stays as a resident drummer.

Since 2015 and after a good national and international critique of EP FIRST BLOOD SPEEDEMON have participated in several concerts with national and foreign bands and in various festivals such as Barroselas Metal Fest (WOA Battle finalists), Silveira Rock Fest, Metal Keeper, Sardine. Iron among others.
