Chennai Street Band Established itself as one of the very popular regional bands with its unique CSB JAMROOM initiative which involved recreating a very famous song by collaborating with world class instrumentalists. With Music Production and Arrangement done by Srihari Jagannathan JamRoom became a viral hit with its First episode of “Ik Kudi” – The famous track from “Udta Punjab” that went on to become a youtube sensation. Being Shared my the likes of Shahid Kapoor , Ekta Kapoor , Diljith Dosanjh and Anurag Kashyap and being covered in blogs like story pick CSB created a solid fan base. From then on CSB has gone to release cover versions of tracks like “Sirikkadhey” from “Remo” and “Ae Zindagi Gale Laga Le”
Chennai Street Band Stepped into Indie Music Forte recently with the launch of their First independent Bilingual single titled “Veliye Vaa Kannama” in Tamil and “Udd Chal” in HIndi which features the likes of Jonita Gandhi , Keba Jeremiah , Sharanya Srinivas in it.
Chennai Street Band aims at putting more Independent Stuff out there , and explore various genres. The Future Projects will be reflecting the same.
