De’SaT Bangalore Experimental Progressive Metal Band 

De’SaT was formed in somewhere in 2009 (Officially September 2010). As the individual tastes of the band members began to merge, we started to Focus on one particular Genre. Experimental Progressive Metal. With a wide range of Influences and Inspirations from Local and International acts we began our awesome Journey together.

In the span of 3 years, they have overcome quiet a few challenges and made it to the main stream of the local music scenes.
After launching their Demo CD on the 22nd of June 2011, it was smooth sailing for the band. After which, De’SaT Headlined shows at various places In India and also various other Corporate Shows.

In 2012, De’SaT has achieved big goals in a very short span of time. Following are their Main achievements so far.

· Winners of the National level Competition Till Deaf Do We Part – 2012 at B.I.T.S Pilani University Hyderabad.

· Winners of the National level Competition at Christian Medical College Vellore

· Runners Up at the National level Competition at St.John’s College Of Engineering, Bangalore

· Winners of the National level Competition Rockathalon – 2012 at Rajagiri College Of Engineering, Kochi.

· Played alongside The International Band, Thurisaz at B.I.T.S Hyderabad.

· Opening Act for The International Band, Dhisthi at Blue Waves Bangalore.

· Headlined at Italia, Bangalore. De’SaT in Concert

· Headlined at Hubli, Karanataka. De’SaT In Concert

· Headlined at Abhiyanthriki 2012 Cochin, Kerela. De’SaT in awareness Concert.

· De’SaT was One among the Top 4 Indian Metal Acts chosen to Compete to Open For the MIGHTY SLAYER !!

2013 Too Proved A Big Bang for De’SaT.

· De’SaT Started the Year Headlining at Phoenix Mall, White Field. Bangalore To an Awesome New Year Crowd.

· Headlined One of the most reputed gigs in India, THE PIT 2, De’SaT in Concert.

· De’SaT Were the Winners Of Nokia Indiafest Fest Channel [V] Launchpad – 2013.

· De’SaT Was the Co-Headlining Band at Pearl – 2013 at B.I.T.S Pilani Hyderabad and Opening Act for the International Band ‘AMPLIFIER’ from Manchester, UK.

· De’SaT is One among the Only TWO Indian bands whose music has been featured on 13SR International Metal, Bloodstock Open Air, UK Radio alongside big names like SLAYER, SOILWORK, DIMMU BORGIR, TOOL, SEPULTURA etc..
