Adams Apple DARJEELING 5-piece Rock Band 

The band has been very active especially in the north eastern region of the country since its first debut appearance at Cafe’ Live and Loud, Gangtok back in 2012. It has been touring since in and around the region satisfying the fans and the even the fresh crowds with what they want from the band. The band is been loved and followed by a good rate of listeners as it comes in a full compact package of both heavy rock sound as well as easy listening melodies. After winning the Hornbill International Rock festival 2014 the Band also opened for the front man of Mr.Big (Mr. Eric Martin) and the front man of Bad Company (Mr.Robert Hart).Touring all over the notheastern region, Bhutan and Nepal they have also made their debut tour to Dubai lately.
The Band’s popularity in the hills have come especially through their extravagant and exquisite way of hitting things on stage and also through their original compositions which are never a ‘one time listen’ to the listeners.
With almost 8 to 10 songs ready to be recorded the Band will soon be coming up with their first self titled debut album ‘Adams Apple’. The Band’s goal is to reach to the music lovers all around the globe and to bring back the rock culture once again.

BAND HISTORY:

Wangden & Anil formerly a member of Sinister Violence, a heavy metal outfit from Darjeeling. They have both performed all over the country including Goa for Channel V Launch Pad, North Eastern Rockers in Gangtok, Great Himalayan Rock , Darjeeling. The band also has toured Kathmandu extensively. Anil plays the keyboards and Wangden is the founder and the former vocalist who had been replaced by a very young talent from Shillong, Danius Marak aka Danny who is now currently replaced by Mahesh Niroula the front man of a very known band SILVER (Pune). He is yet another blessing for the band as his presence in the line up have never made the band feel empty-bellied in any aspect. His cracking shrills and never ending pitch gives the band the perfect hint of how a typical Rock Band should sound.
Praggya & Prabash are also the current members of a very well known band MANTRA (Darjeeling)
Adams Apple was yet another chance for these talents to perform with the youngsters and explore genres they never tried before. Their immense experience as musicians and their stage comfort forms the spine of the band. These two have been playing professionally for the past 15 years throughout the country and abroad including numerous tours to Nepal and touring Internationally to Hong Kong, Korea, Dubai, Australia and Uk. Praggya plays the lead guitars for the current band and Prabash unfortunately is no more active with the band since Dec’ 2014 . Replacing him is Sawan, another big talent from our own hills known especially for his fast fingers and tapping skills. Sawan used to be the former bassist for a metal band Two point Four Three, who were the stage breakers for the Death metal giants, Napalm Death back in 2012 in Kathmandu, Nepal. Later he also joined a progressive based band DNA before contributing to Adams Apple.
Lastly Ushang being the drummer of the party brings his progressive metal/rock style and touch from Head Motif, then a very active progressive based band in the hills. His spontaneity, activeness and his classical theory immensely contributes to the band without any cynicism. His experiences include playing at Hard Rock Café ,Hyderabad, Great Himalayan Rock, NepFest, and Fests at various IIT campuses’ and gigs all over the country.
